We promise disruptive and innovative local projects tackling Guyana’s folklore, history, natural environment and culture, with a special emphasis on LGBTQ+, environmental and Indigenous stories. Our productions consider and address impact, accessibility and equitable concerns for cast, crew and audiences.
We prioritize collaboration, creativity, and diversity, and have a robust and varied development slate of fiction and non-fiction projects.

As a Co-Founder and the Executive Director of Third Horizon, a US-based film nonprofit, romola produces films, film festivals – Third Horizon Film Festival (Miami, LA and NY) and the Timehri Film Festival (Guyana) – and distributes Caribbean films via Third Horizon Distribution’s, Studio Anansi Tv. As an attorney, romola represents artists – dancers, writers, directors, producers, etc – members of the queer community, and small businesses, with their legal needs.

Alysia, is a creative operations professional with a passion for both design and workflow optimization.
She specializes in leading design teams in the development and production of marketing collateral and campaigns for companies like Maimonides Health, Innovate Guyana, Sesame Workshop, Chick-Fil-A, and Samsung. In addition, she works to bring structure to her clients’ creative operations by streamlining systems and establishing project management best practices.
Alysia, is also a champion for the creation and curation of content that reflects her Caribbean heritage. As such, she co-founded the Timheri Film Festival, is a member of the Third Horizon Film Collective, overseeing guest relations for the annual Third Horizon Film Festival and is the founder of the Caribbean- American culture blog Rewind and Come Again.
She is the ultimate left-brain/right-brain mash-up. A creatively powered stickler for process and details who regularly breathes life into a simple idea and a few pretty pictures.

She is Guyana’s nine-time Road March Queen and manager at Kross Kolor Records.
Onika Bobb, brings a wealth of experience to her career, encompassing nine (9) years in public education, roles as a research analyst, office manager, journalist, certified mechanic, and university tutor.
Currently excelling as the Executive Assistant to Romola Lucas, she actively contributes to the smooth operation of Romola’s diverse enterprises.
On top of her versatile background, Onika also serves as the Finance Manager for CAFA – Third Horizon, Inc., and the Production Accountant for Maribunta Pictures, showcasing her financial acumen.
Her extensive career path and multifaceted roles underscore her ability to make significant contributions in various organizational levels.

Jazielle Mortimer, is Maribunta Pictures’ Administrative and Production Assistant. She possesses a strong desire to learn and acquire new skills, particularly in her current job field.
She is currently enrolled at the University of Guyana, as a business major. She previously attended Kingston Secondary School, graduating in 2021.
